Stare out Yonder (4) lezi_berns (106) | I had my sister pose for this one... hehehe=) Anyway, it turned out ok.
I, initially, found this island in the internet and told myself that am going there. True enough, 2 days later, I was able to convince my Dad to go on a roadtrip. My Dad, mom and me went to Zambales on that same day. But unfortunately we only came as close as Pundaquit Beach, the jump off point to Capones Island.
The week after that, I was telling my friends about the trip and of the island I want to go to. And, tried to convince them to go with me. And because of my unrefusable charm and enthusiasm, 'lo and behold... two weeks after my failed roadtrip.... I reached Capones Island.
Talk about being persistent... hehehe=) Pity though, I was only able to explore the South side of the island... Anyway, I'll try to come back in the next few months...
I'll post more of my Capones pix in the next few days... So, wait for it... |

 lezi_berns (106) Autocolor, levels, curves Edited by:duder

I wanted to add a little more contrast to this shot while still maintaining the feel of early evening that I got from the original.
First I copied the background layer and ran auto color. Then I created a levels adjustment layer, moved the left slider slightly, and then adjusted the slider in the blue channel to add some blue to the shot. With a curves adjustment layer I darkened both the shadows and higlights slightly, but brightened the midtones. Finally, I copied the background to a new layer and ran unsharp mask with a setting of 20,50,0, and changed the opacity of this layer to 50%. |
