Hope I'm not boring you to death with this view on a cloudy morning and the sun was very intermittent with some patches of light.
A shot taken during a brief photo routine at Vu An Cu lagoon near Lang Co Bay 15 km north of Danang along Highway One which offers one of the most scenic seaside routes in Vietnam's central coast, It's quite spectacular with the majestic Truong Son mountains on one side and dazzlingly blue South China Sea to the east. In the middle there is a peaceful and attractive lagoon with many huge fishing nets which are such a large part of the ambience and most prominent feature here. This is also home to some inland fishing community which relies on this natural resource for a living.
It was dead calm at high tide and there was no noise except for the song of a few birds and getting around on the coracles on this water seemed routine to these fishermen but it also showed a great display of dexterity and the enormousness of their task ahead. Perhaps, a traditional way of life which hasn't changed for many generations...
I was very fascinated by the "flow” of the nets, the tones and of course the serenity of the panorama which made me very humble.
Hoping this aspect of daily life will be of interest...
