They say just the eyes can tell the whole story, or "I could see it in his/her eyes etc.."!. I am not so sure that that is true. When I cropped this photo it changed completely.

Cloning the background in black (right), and also a part of the hair at top left.

Add some grey hue on the face to give more volume.
