I was inspired to look out this photograph by TE friend Bulent Atalay whose recent post is a book shop window with a link to a video of the most beauiful bookshop I have ever seen. He reckons it was where J.K.Rowling got inspiration when writing one of her Harry Potter stories.And this reminded me that I had this photo in my files: a favourite bookshop of mine, that has books crammed on several floors.Here I also found a Harry Potter lookalike book lover.The shop is opposite Carlisle cathedral and sells second hand and antiquarian books as well as classical music Cds. I pop in both to browse and to see if they have any photography books.I have a couple of National Geographic greatest photos books from here.As Bulent says, books makes great presents.
I have belatedly added a workshop showing more of the interior of this shop.
