Dear akeyswede, I'd like to overcome the light colours of the sea. I was not there with you as you were taking this photo, wish I could see it with my eyes though. Anyway, in photoshop I followed the steps:
1. Added a levels adjustment layer: The aim is to adjust the pink reflection only. Selected only the pink reflection over the sea with a soft brush. Then adjusted as: (Red channel: 0-1,00-239 | Green channel: 0-1,00-255 | Blue channel: 0-1,00-240)
2. Added a levels adjustment layer over the previous one. The aim is to adjust the blue section of the sea. So I selected only the blue parts of the sea and adjusted as: (Red channel: 48-1,00-255 | Green channel: 35-1,00-255 | Blue channel: 0-1,00-232)

This is the result, the trick is, not selecting anything else but the sea :-)

Just to give an idea, your photo with its original view remains.
