Since the 2nd of July Gdynia has been hosting the most prestigious and the biggest SHIPS. They'll be here till Sunday the 5th and then will sail to St Petersburg.
The ships were here for the first time in 1973 and the last time in 2003 - there were over 120 vessels.My last time I saw them was in Turku, but only for a few minutes while getting on the Silja Line Ferry, so ysterday I had HUGE fun...
Gdynia also hosts at the same time two other big festivals - Heineken Open'er and The Polish Mountain Car Race in Sopot - which means: traffic jams!!!
