The cranes were built in the 70s in the Gdansk shipyard, now they are the symbol of our city, they are planned to disappear from our cityscape, there were a few debates how to protect them and I hope they'll be enlisted as the National Heritage Symbols.
The picture was taken from the dilapidating yellow bridge, which was banned from traffic a few months ago and it is also going to be pulled down.
On June 4th, there was a concert in the Gdansk Shipyard commemorating the events of 1989, unfortunately we weren't allowed to take SLRs so in my WS you can see a pic taken with my Nokia E66. And the concert? It was ok, especially Polish stars, there was also Scorpions and Kylie Minogue.
But as some of you know, I'm not the tallest (158cm), so I HAD SUCH a perfect VIEW:))))
