Chorsu Bazaar, on the outskirts of Tashkent, is one of the largest markets in Central Asia. (The Tolkucha market, outside Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, is probably the largest.) Much of the market is under the seven domes, but it spills out into the open air. We were wandering around when I spotted this woman selling raisins. I have no idea what the story is about the girl next to her, but there has to be one.

I went back to the original photo and cropped it vertically, to emphasize the two women (or woman and girl), so that the girl becomes perhaps more a part of the scene than in the original.
