Taking a break from my 'train' pictures.

Nature in Ireland, and especially the west coast, is really stunning, and seeing the beautiful Ireland pictures of SophieL and Valentia, inspired me to look at my own Ireland pictures again.
(Also I could not make up my mind which one to choose of my train pictures ;-))

The picture is taken from Skellig Michael, since 1996 one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites. The view is on little Skellig, which is inhabited by 40.000 Gannets, and not open to the public. Behind it, lies Ballinskelligs Bay.
The grey dwellings are the Beehive Huts of St. Finian's monastery, dated back from 560 AD.

The colors came out of the camera like this, the green stuff is not grass, but some sort of weed. I cropped out a cable and a man standing near the huts.

Bonsoir Rinie,

Eigenlijk had ik nog dichterbij de rots-eiland willen gaan maar ik kon maar niet kiezen wat ik moest "croppen" - bergen of huisjes. Veels te mooi!

Amicalement - Viviane

Make the rock as the center of interest, i have cropped the image following the "Golden Third Rule".

Have cloned out some of the white dots (think waves) from the sea.

Then put a frame around.

I hope you like it.
