Of return of a marvellous weekend in Paris, I present the castle of Chantilly here. This one is drawn up in the middle of a vast domain of 7.800 hectares grounds located within one of the largest forests of the surroundings of Paris, the solid mass of the Three Forests (Chantilly, Halatte, Ermenonville).
This field was made up since the Middle Ages by the owners of Chantilly.
The castle of Chantilly includes one of the most beautiful museums of old paintings after Louvre and a very rich library of rare and invaluable books.
Except for its cream :-), Chantilly is famous for its racehorses and its hypodromme.
