Another photo of a 35mm slide relating to my '72 3 month crossing of the Sahara Desert.

Here is a scene from the "mythical", and once glorious city of Tombouctou (Timbuctou). I was so excited to be here, to spend time with the local residents and to learn its history. If I recall correctly, I was here for 4 or 5 days. Getting there was a challenge, and its isolation is not a legend!

I adjusted various levels to enhance the colours, added contrast and sharpness, erazed the scratches by clone-stamping and enlarged the picture to maximum allowed size.
