This is Hussein, the driver for the family we visited in Pakistan to attend a wedding in 2001. And he is showing me the wedding dinner which is about to be slaughtered and prepared. I promised him I would show this photo around. I suppose with this post I fulfil that promise.
24 hours later he served me a delicious beefstew in curry, which I have posted as workshop. But this animal also fed 200 other guests.

Believe me, Hussein was quite amuzed at participating in this photo documentation of the way from stable to table. He only speak Pashto the dialect of the Northwest frontier Province and parts of Afghanistan - which I don't - but we managed to communicate setting up these two shots.
