Very nice but cold weather during this weekend, time to get the camera out and discover frozen countryside landscapes.

Here is the Nivernais Canal which stands along the river Yonne. I love this beautiful region where the water travels gently through the hills of Burgundy.

I feel the extra foreground doesn't contribute much to the composition. By cropping, bring us but closer to the lake and landscape and bit cleaner look. that just a different look, not neccesary better, just different way to compose it.
