Photographer’s Note

I took a big pleasure and interest to visit the building of the head office of the French communist Party, place du colonel Fabien in Paris during the days of the heritage last Sunday. Built (from 1965) by Oscar Niemeyer the big creative Brazilian architect of Brasilia, we find these forms there round off that Niemeyer likes so much and whose inspiration he finds in the feminine curves ( It is him who says it in a very interesting film which I viewed the same day and who allowed me to know better this extraordinary sir born in 1907!).
This building was built during the exile of Niemeyer in France during the dictatorship in Brazil. The terrace was open to the public, that is why we perceive some silhouettes.
The white shape is a bubble half buried in which is the conference room.
I dedicate this photo to Consuelo Freire cfreire who made me discover by her photos, Brasilia and Niemeyer

Technically, I had a little of difficulty with this white dome, so that it is not overexposed!
