Statue Liberty and buildings of University of Thessally!

The University of Thessaly, has preserved a series of old industrial warehouses and other buildings in various places in the city, to use them as academic faculties today, "Papastratos building" on the promenade, originally a greek tobacco company warehouse is the administration building of the university and could be thought as the trademark of Volos. here Thessaly University
The University of Thessaly was founded in 1984. Though newly founded, it has demonstrated remarkable work in the course of its life.

Since its founding 18 years ago, it has been operating with 4 faculties, 16 undergraduate departments, 3 elective study programs and 5 post-graduate programs.

During all those years of its operation, the University of Thessaly has given particular importance to the cultivation of principles that upgrade science with the aim to offer the best possible services to man and the public in general.

Emphasis has also been placed on a qualitative academic environment, on contemporary equipment, and on pioneering facilities, which result in an obvious presence of quality--an element that distinguishes the university more and more each year.

Hi Giorgio,
I learnt how to make star effect very recently and I really like it a lot. Unfortunately I don't have a tripod for now so I don't have chance to make some experiments. So I am enjoying postings coming from TE members at least for now :)
I like this shining night shot a lot. With the stars of light and beautiful shines on water, it is a very lively moment from Volos.

une photo nocturne de qualité, j'aime ici le noir du ciel, parfait, pas pollué de lumières orangées des villes.
Belle impression de calme et de repos, de beau temps aussi.

Good night shot with great reflection, good lighting and sharpness. Your POV is very good.
I prefer this one if compared with your WS. this one has better natural colors.

a very nice image where the golden tones contrast really nicely with the blacks and the oranges and the reflection of this golden light in the water is wonderful. Excellent point of view.

The cooler WB you used for the WS has given you a blue sky as if you had taken the image in the blue hour, but the buildings look a bit too cool. Did you try blending the two different conversions together so then you could have the blue sky and water but the warmer toned buildings? It is another very well exposed night shot.
