Early morning in Udaipur Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was quite lucky during my stay in Udaipur because our hotel was right in the city center - in front of jain Temple.
this hotel had a nice terrasse where I could snap - unobserved - some shots on Sadhus sitting on the temple stairways.

Splendid framing, Silvio. Excellent balance bettween the two Sadhus in opposite corners and nice contrast with the white marble details. They always ask for money - they live from begging...that's why I didn't bring images of them from India.

Very interesting composition with some levels of "action".
A little burned by the sun, maybe skin could be better in PP...

A image of good contrasts & the framing is excellent. the marble & the sadhus with their robes contrast strongly & well. I am yet to visit Udaipur, which I've heard is the best Rajasthan destination.

Hi Silvio, I like this one very much, with the clever framing including these guys in opposite corners, and similar colors. Light is nice. It has a freshness and spontaneity, and definitely I prefer it to the "closer POV" shot... Regards, Daniel

Great composition. I am not sure about the skin tones though. Indian generally do not look like that, even in the blistering Udaipur sun!

Ottima composizione, forse sono un po' scuri i volti, ma può anche darsi che sia il mio monitor che quando lavoro lo tengo scuro scuro...

I find this a very good composition with the Sadhus in opposite corners of the photo.
You show also a part of the interesting architecture and artwork of a Jain temple.

Ich hatte ein par sehr schöne Tage in Udaipur,dieser wirklich interessanten StadtSchönes Doppelportrait dieser interessant aussehenden Männer.Mir gefällt wie sie in gegenüberliegenden Ecken sitzen.

Very good diagonal (because of the people, I mean)composition. Vivid colours nicely contrast with the walls. I wish the light was not so strong, but you can't move the sun, can you?

Good colour and beautiful morning sunlight, perspective compressed by telephoto works effectively to put the two sadhus on the closer position.
