Jokulsarlon panorama Photo

Photographer's Note

I have try to make a panorama. The subject is the Jokulsarlon lake. This lake is situated on the end of the glacier. Part of the glacier are floating on the lake. This make the site very beautiful. The begining of a movie from the serie of Jame Bond has been made here (Dangereusement votre) I do not know the title in english sorry.
The picture is composed of 4 pictures taken on from the west part of this lake. As these pictures was not taken to be a panorama, I have some dificulties to mix them. The brightness was not the same, so I have to make some corrections. After more than one hour the result is what you see.... I have take into acount the remarks of Jack Johansen. Thanks Jack, you are true.

This is out of this world ... so desolate ... so beautiful. Congratulations on the panorama ... it's seamless considering that you didn't plan this to be. Colors are a little bit muted, perhaps a slight boost in contrast could enhance the colors a little bit more ... especially the blue of the icebergs. But anyway, it is a beautiful photograph and an excellent panorama.

Ca valait la peine de passer une heure dessus, Jack! Le résultat est formidable tant en couleurs qu'en netteté. Belle composition!

Je suis allé voir la photo en grand format, vraiment très impressionnant, ce lagon glaciaire est vraiment un des plus beau endroit d'islande !

Looks as is it is very remote. The seams are not very obvious unless you are looking for them. Very beautiful panoramic photograph.

Ce panorama passe parfaitement comme une lettre à la poste.
Je me demande si tu avais utilisé Autostitch tu aurais peut-être eu moins de difficultés à l'assemblage.
Quoique celui-ci a été bien travaillé.
