Photographer’s Note
The imposing Forbidden City in Beijing, was previously off limits to all but the Emperor, but is now open to everyone, for a small fee. (About 57 yuan, or $5 US).
I entered from the Beihei Garden entrance. This is about 1/2 way through the massive complex. Tianamen Square is in the distance, behind the red temple.

Hi Chris.
Nice picture with the main entrance(?) in the background.
Is amazing how, with the time passing by, some things are really easier...

Assurément touristique Chris, un endroit dont tu as bien rendu l'animation et la beauté grandiose des édifices.
Je suis un peu étonné de voir un ciel aussi bleu et aucune ombre aux personnages.
Excellent week-end.
Daniel.

The hugeness of the building is very stricking here due to the tiny figures at the back - very imposing and impressive composition, happy to see again this famous landmark through your lense,
Best,
Cath.

Bonjour Chris
A familiar scene, but original POV thanks to the inclusion of the stairs in the FG, which leads us into the scene. Quite a few tourists around, wonder what the scene must have been during the Olympics! Well done!

Hello Chris
A view from the back of the entrance, so nice particularly because some of the buildings were under restoratiom when I visited the Forbidden City, so I don't remember to have seen this. But what I like is the fact that you can see people advancing from the left to the right it is like a living picture -
All the best to you - Izzet
