Mongolia is known as "the land of blue sky", & it's not hard to work out why. This is the national soccer headquarters of Mongolia in Ulan Bator (Ulaan Baator). I liked both the blue sky vs the yellow fg sand, & the huge soccer ball sculptures, dwarfing the boys playing outside.

A very appealing composition, particularly with the inclusion of the two budding footballers. The blues of the sky and the building contrast well with the rest of the surroundings. Very good clarity.

Very interesting composition. Good inclusion of the boys playing between the sculptures. I like very much the blue tones and the great light here.

interesting building and soccer ball sculptures
What is more interesting is that the place is in mongolia
I like the blue colors - harmony between the sky and the building

How delightful yet incongruous to see these soccer ball sculptures in this setting. Indeed whoever painted the building was drawn to the theme of the blue sky land, and I like your angled view of the structure. The boys warmify the scene as well as give us a sense of proportions. Well captured.

They'd get sore feet if they kicked these; that's for sure. Interesting building. It's amazing the colour is the same shade of blue as the sky. Good shot

Now those are some huge soccer balls! What I like most about this is the way the blue sky is matched by the blue building, which really makes this seem like an extension of the sky. Well done!

This is an interesting documentary!
Seems like football is becoming big all over Asia...
Good point of view, resulting in fine lines in composition; great clarity in colours!

The colours are really cool. It looks like a doll house and the sculptures are cool. Very nice perspective. Nino

Astinishing facade, you compose well by inclusion of the foot sculptures...
Great light and nice blue.

Now I understand why the Mongolian soccer team is still far away from its international breakthrough. The balls they use are much to large and they don’t have the right grass field. Only the outfit of the players seems adequate :)

This image has a surreal feeling for me. Here, in this remote city, we find a big blue and gray building and giant soccer balls! It almost looks like the whole scene has been dropped on a beach in some other location. It is definitely an interesting image, and very well-presented. :-)

Blue it is for sure, I guess it's where the manufacturers go testing the new polarisers... and they even added more blue on the building to match, the fun balls add context to the building and the boys scale to see how big they are. Good exposure allowing good contrasts and a punchy image.
Have a nice day,

Very interesting shot with the national soccer headquarters of Mongolia and the two soccer balls sculptures. This is one of the reasons why i like TE, we are able to see so many interesting places that is quite possible i wouldn't be able to visit in my life time.
Thank you for sharing this picture.

A beautiful shot. I like the light and colours. Good exposure.

The thumbnail was already intruiging, but the real photo is even nicer to study. That blue house fits the sky really well. it's good that there are also two boys playing soccer, otherwise the size of the sculptures would have been difficult to guess. very nice effect.

Those giant soccer balls are original! I like the angle you chose for the building. It fits well with the blue sky and the sandy yard. Sharpness and colours are excellent. Good job!

very special capture in good perspective. I like the blue white building with the big striking balls in front. I also appreciate the boys to add life to the composition, as well as asense of size.
