Orange, Yellow & Blue Photo

Photographer’s Note

Some details of the Church of Immaculée Conception of Antibes, in the old city.
It was an episcoapl church in the Middle Age.
The naves dates from the XVII Century and it was re-built over an old one of the XII Century.
The orange and yellow tones of the main facade are wonderful, and have a great effect in the deep blue nights.
It is located in a small place few meters down from the Château Grimaldi.
A long step links the two buildings

beh, con la reflex é tutta un'altra storia... L'immagine grandangolare é bella pulita e ben risoluta. Vedo che nonostante la scarsa luce, non hai dovuto spingere piú di tanto nemmeno l'iso. Questa luce artificiale giallo/arancione fa veramente effetto con il blu della tarda serata.

A very impressive image!
I like so much the intesne colour and light catched with the relatively slow shutter seed used here.
Very appropiated the apperture settings, got a very effective DOF.
I think you managed pretty well into this well balanced composition.

ooooh Paolo the gold light is the right for this capture.
The blue corner on the top of the photo give a great ton and makes it more interesting.

Nice controlled lighting ... very good balance. I always like using available lighting rather than flash which gives a harsher effect. Well captured and composed. Good work! tfs.

You are again into trying difficult but attractive and beautiful light conditions and i appreciate the result indeed. I have always admired the coloring of yellow street lamps and how this "closed" architecture reflects the colors of the yellow light is just beautiful. And of course the blue "V" at the top...It adds a lot contrastwise, and i guess this is another experiment on the proportions of contrasting colors. Well seen and thought. Congrats,
