Meet the Three Ladies, from left to right: London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

Sunday morning, shortly after my arrival in London I walked from the hotel near Victoria station to the QE II on Parliament Sqaure. This is the view you get to see on the Victoria street. Somehow just liked the view.
Cropped a lot of the buildings off on the left- and righthandside of the frame to get a better focus on the buildings. Didn't want to fully crop the buildings because then it would look so 'empty'. Also applied a little bit USM in photoshop. Used a magazine stand for a tripod.

Nog eens in London, wat geweldig zeg! En dan nog mooi weer hebben ook. Mag ik heel brutaal vragen wat voor werk je doet?

Techniek: probeer je ISO zo laag mogelijk te houden want dan krijg je een 'schonere negatief'. Een hoger diafragma getal dan f8 is ook niet nodig voor dit soort situaties.

Nu: 400 ISO, f13, 1/250sec (=EV13.4)
Dit is net als 120km/u rijden op de A4 met 7000 toeren in de 3e versnelling. Het kan wél, maar is nogal slordig. ;)

Je zou deze foto ook genomen kunnen hebben met:
100 ISO, f8, 1/160sec (=EV13.3)

Probeer het, je zal zien dat je foto er anders uit gaat zien.
