Photographer’s Note
Monday morning, my colleagues were in the office and I was enjoying a day off in London with a cup of Chai Tea, my camera, really good weather and still some time before I had to run and catch my plane back to Amsterdam.
Obviously I didn't have anough time to get into the London eye - so little time and so much stuff to see! Instead of getting into the eye I decided to walk around the Big Ben, London Eye and the Golden Jubilee Bridge and take a couple of nice shots to take home.
When I noticed that from this POV one of the 32 capsules was peeking through the trees, I had to capture it on camera.

The Eye was opened by British Prime Minister Tony Blair on 31 December 1999, although it was not opened to the public until March 2000 because of technical problems.
