Photographer's Note

While in the main street the regular marketstuf is being sold there are allways sideways where farmerswives sit down to sell there goods just before them on the street. Here three elder women, the most common group on markets, are sellingb their herbes and vegetables while discussing the things that life had brought lately, covering their heads for the sun whio already sweeps up the temperature on a this warm day.

Welcome back from your travels Gerrit. I am looking forward to seeing all your photos from this less-visited country.
Excellent daily life shot. I love the expression on the middle one's face as she tells her story, and the unusual head covering tells its own story. They have even brought a water spray to keep the vegetables fresh.

wauw in albanie geweest. dan zul je ook wel weer het nodige op schijf hebben staan, mooie trio, goed pov en een uitstekend genomen foto.

What a familiar scene for me !
like this daily life pictutre,I have seen many times this kind of the scene around and in the small twons and during taking picture,I buy somtings most of the times from them :)
well captured and a very good group portrait you worked in a real condition and pose,well composed and I like the way you was almost kneel in front of theme,well worked,Gerrit!

I relly love this triple portrait of these women. The daily life scene is very well captured and perfectly composed, with lovely details to observe. I love their natural expressions and the gree vegetables in foreground. The cover on their heads is a funny touch. Excelent shot!

I can empathize with the women's tired expressions, I feel the same way in the heat. The bright green of the vegetables, with the sprayer to keep them fresh provides excellent contrast to the steaming heat of the women against the baking wall.
