Photographer’s Note

Kish Island is located 18 kilometres off the southern Iranian coasts in Persian Gulf.

The island lies 300 kilometers from Bandar Abbas, 400 kilometers from Bushehr,200 kilometers from the Emirate of Dubai,and 1,600 kilometers in land route,or 1,052 kilometers in air route,from Tehran.

According to the national geographical divisions,Kish is in the domain of the Lengeh District,Hormuzgan Province,but is run independently by the Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO).

The relatively oval island has an area of over 90 square kilometers: 15 km long(east-west) and 7 km wide (north-south).

Hi Mohammad. I was just saying to someone else that i never get tired of sunsets, and your picture for today is no exception. Your composition is simple an good, with the sun off center and the ship balancing it on the left. Beautiful colours.

I like the vertical format with the balance between the sun and the ship as well as the textured sea. The rich colour of the sky and the silver reflection are very pretty too.

A nice sunset of yours and as always a photo with a formidable warming potential ;-)
The boat is nearly invisible, it just appears after a while by impregnation, but when you see if you realise the nice balance it provides to this view.

A beautiful and vividly colored photo, Mohammad. The vertical format works fine on this one to have the sun placed in a very elevated position in the frame, yet show enough of its glittering reflection on the sea. Very relaxing and moody, thanks for sharing it.
