Photographer’s Note

During ages under the Krumlov Castle, a settlememt called Latran was growing. It was inhabited mostly by castle servants.

On my close-up, You can see a part of Latran, called "Castle Stairs", with mostly gothic houses and buildings.

Bonjour Mat,
un plan serré sur cet enchevêtrement très coloré de toitures et de murs.
On a profité du moindre espace pour construire.
J'aime ce cadrage serré, il concentre toutes les couleurs.
Personnellement, je me sentirais un peu à l'étroit là-bas.

Lovely scenery with all the roofs and different buildings. The red colour of the roofs give the picture a warm atmosphere. Well captured.

Hi Mat,
A well integrated scene, framed and cropped for dramatic impact. The one building with the copper roof contrasts neatly with the other buildings. I really like how the buildings seem to be so built into the hill and rock. The details are superb. A great capture, Mat.

Wonderful colors here, love the red roofs! Great angles and lots of things to lead the eye through the photo. Nice POV, right up there among the rooftops! Great composition, perfect placement of the building with the green roof. Not only contrasts of colors, but of old/new here... wonderful!
