Photographer’s Note
Another one view of the Lerici Marina, the small harbour in the city centre.
It was the beginnings of a wonderful sunset, that we wait sitted at an open bar at few meters from the sea, drinking a Negroni Sbagliato.
2 oz Spumante (or champagne)
1 oz red vermouth Martini Rosso
1 oz Campari
1 slice orange for garnish
Stir well over ice in a balloon-size wine glass.
It was invented in Milano at the Bar Basso in the 70's, and is one of the most popular alchoolic cocktail in all North Italy.
...for the sunset you must come in Italy.

Ciao Paolo,
Excellent warm colors and beautiful boat silhouettes, well done to have palced the sun behind the rising lantern, but from a compo point of view I think it could have been better to have it more on the right, it possible ?
Anyway, very pleasant to look at on a rainy day ! Grazie mille !
Have a nice day,

Io e Fabio aspettiamo l'invito.

Paolo, Your picture is heart warming, not only because of the beautiful colours and the feeling of peace that oozes out of it, but also because it recalls the colours of that famous and delicious Negroni drink you mentioned and of which you gave a very detailed recipe.
Compliments for your picture and thank you for the recipe.
P.S. Why do you call it “sbagliato” (wrong)? Because there is no gin?

Ciao Paolo,

This could almost be a combination of the photos of me (on of Gothenburg, also with a light in the middle and one of Aarhus with also a sunset by the marina.)
Very nice warm colours, beautiful light. I like the way the sun is behind the light.

Shooting intot he sun rarelly worsk from what Ive seen, but it does work here, perhaps thanks to the lamp post. The setting sun has created a natural sepia effect, making this seem like an aged photograph. I also like the composition, it is what I imagine small Italian towns to be like. All one needs is a nice dinner, a nice wine, good company and a table near the water.

Bonne idée la position du soleil dans la photo. Effet de couché de soleil avant le temps!

Ciao Paolo and thanks for the Negroni Recipe. Thanks also for this pretty picture, you know already that I like to play with the light, and this example is among what I like best - golden tones and silhouettes. You did well to hide the sun with the pole. Izzet Keribar

Nice shot Paolo!
A beautiful sunset captured with brilliant colors. The silhoettes of the boats and lamp really compliment the shot.
Very well seen, and fantastically captured!
Cheers,
Dan

I'm a sucker for sunsets! This is a beautiful shot. I am obsessed with light posts, and this is a particularly beautiful one. The sky is gorgeous, the mountains are magnificent, the water is calming... I love it!
