I like this composition from a fine perspective, which includes the roofs of the houses as well as the narrow street cutting through the entire picture. Some of the pedestrians cast very fine long shadows that underscore the vertical dominance of the composition.

another beautiful shot from Innsbruck! I like the tight vertical cut which enhances the narrowness of the street; beautiful long shadows, good light management.

bellissimo POV, da li le ombre lunghe sono splendide.
C'è una bella atmosfera nella via "intrappolata" tra i palazzi.

Salut Roland. Incredible POV made even more dramatic by the narrow cropping, strong light and shade and of course by the repetition of the windowsill patterns. Well seen. Amicalement. Klaudio.

Looking down on daily life. This image is so effective with the strips of contrasting architecture and the appropriate cropping. Cheers, Marlene

superb POV and clever composition. Love the effect of the light and the intrigue it creates at street level. Executed perfectly with wonderful detailing and elegant lines.
Have a great weekend - regards Brian.

J'aime le POV de cette image qui exagère la hauteur et l'échelle des bâtiments. La lumière et les ombres dans la ruelle sont excellents tout comme le parapluie jaune qui agit comme un point d'intérêt pour l'il.

This is a quite unusual image. We are used to seeing long shadows of people taken from top and images of building taken from top, but the combination is quite rare. And that giant natural borders with those lean buildings. This is great.

a very well managed composition that offers so much to see. You've made the most of your point of view and of the intriguing lighting and created an image with both architectural and artistic interest. I love your original way to create depth and perspective, the marvellous capture of details and the lovely, mysterious, theatrical, fascinating way to present a daily life scene between the two buildings. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

Very original street scene. I like the POV and the strong shadows of the narrow street. Well taken, have a good night.

not a bad idea at all to take this photo from a tower. It gives an excellent overview and perhaps it gives a hint of where to eat lunch:) The yellow umbrella is a good eye-catching object in this vertical composition and i like the long shadows and the light also, well done!
Have a nice evening.

What a lovely 'birds eye' view of this street. The light and shadows in the street are carefully captured and the yellow umbrella makes a compelling focal point. Very well done.
Kind Regards, Ann

Graphic design on the building and narrow the urban context.
Urban heat of the historic center and horizontal progression vertically.

)) Amazing capture of daily life in Innsbruck. Great POV! I remember I shot similar scenes from my hotel in Vienna. I see so funny long shadows. It's evening.

This slim vertical formats suit the subject so well. Love your ideas and observation playing with available elements in such an exciting way and well executed. Timely shot is vital here when the sharp long shadows are projected onto the narrow alley and it also shows hint of movement, dynamic and depth. Well done, TFS

What a unique and brilliant point of view! I always feel a point of view has worked well when the resultant image makes me feel slightly dizzy, and this does that perfectly. I love the colours in the building too, and the shadows on the street.

Beautiful chosen POV, excelent image showing silhouettes and shadows of people-figures stroll a small narrow alley.
Looking from above gave a fine & unique perspective.

This tight crop works realy well on this composition. It makes the buildings look even thiner and taller! Realy like the strong sillouets on the pavement.

Légère impression de vertige; intéressante vue plongeante sur cette vue.

I've really enjoyed looking at all of your photo's taken and posted from Austria - a wide and varied collection.
I chose this one for its unique birds eye views.
also for the tall skinny architecture.
