Drummers of Jeonju Photo

Photographer's Note

There was a performance of traditional Korean drumming in the beuatiful old town of the city of Jeonju. Amongst the traditional buildings and streets these performers beat out a heavy slow and hypnotic rythme. They had a good crowd too, as there was a group of 400 English teachers from various English speaking nations doing induction in the city and they got this performance as a treat.

Would you believe I never did get to a folk museum or cultural display like this? So nice to see it here. Good use of a shallow dof with nice saturated color & authentic looking smiles. Tfs!
