Photographer’s Note
In the yard of the "Münchner Residenz", a house that was once the home of the Bavarian Kings, there is this year a small Christmas market ("Weihnechtsmarkt"), that was not present last year.
The walls are illuminated with green and blue lights, as the background of this picture shows. If inspected closely, it is possible to notice that the walls are not the original ones but are fake ones —probably carton or wood with paint on them. This is because this house is under restauration. The price of the "Glühwein" is 0,50 € cheaper than in Marienplatz.
Many nice handicrafts can be bought at this market, although never cheap.
