parading in the Sunday market Photo

Photographer’s Note

(Large version). On their best in their Sunday clothes, the lady and her pet dog were parading, like another equally chic Chihuahua and 3 lovely grumpy bulldogs with very photogenic faces (of course, subject forbidden on TE as we all know, fortunately masters were also interesting, so proud !).

With Marianne, Didier and Marc, we had a wonderful time together, first in this big multiethnic market where everything can be bought in terms of food and then in the afternoon, lost in a snow storm not far from Spa in the hills of our "flat country".

Many thanks to the team for their warm welcome and it was also lovely to meet Logan, one of the youngest TE members (10 years old).

Ta mini-série est vraiment excellente, tu as capté une belle palette d'expressions!
Le N&B est un excellent choix qui convient parfaitement ici.

Cath, I do not know what I enjoyed the most, the collage you made or the workshops of the moment of capture...
Really great... I had a good laugh looking at the different situations...
The presentation in B&W and the collage are terrific...

Un assemblage de postures entre maître et chien très réussi !
Bravo pour avoir su saisir ces moments étonnants (ressemblance entre les deux).
La large version présentation une photo colorée au centre fait ressortir à merveille l'ensemble.

tel un film ces trois photos ce complètent admirablement,
les expressions sont succulentes autant pour le chien que pour sa maitresse.

Bonjour Catherine,

Comme on dit "tel maître, tel chien"... Expression qui prend tout son sens ici, j'aime beaucoup ce pano bien fait et original. Une belle série de portraits, j'ai surtout un petit faible pour le dernier. Très expressif. Bien joué aussi pour la version large qui alterne N&B et couleur. Bravo Catherine.

Je suis surpris et émerveillé devant ce triptyque amusant ; l’expression de la dame est franchement comique sur la 3ème image ; même expression que son chien.

Bonsoir chere Catherine,

c'est ce que j'aime vivre dans la rue: tomber au hazard sur des scenes inattendues et des gens interessants. Comme si je sortais a la chasse. Le photo-safari a une logique semblable. Le 23 novembre tu es rentree chez toi avec un vrai trophee dans ton Canon. J'ai bien suivi la note (mon englais n'est plus un obstacle comme avant) et la suite des images. Idee bien interessante.

...merci pour ce moment de drôlerie, de joie, ! J'ai bien ri aussi en voyant les workshops :-). La version large est excellente aussi. La troisième est ma préférée car les deux "personnages" se ressemblent au plus près ! Ce que tu es capable de faire avec cet Ixus, ça me renverse, c'est vraiment formidable, mais surtout en étant toi-même, tu charmes les gens... Avec toute mon admiration et un grand sourire, chère Cath.

i like this triple compo a lot cath... you should be making and uploading more shots from the streets of belgium i think... it is great fun to see shots from you other than the ones made in india or anatolia...
