Photographer’s Note
I took this picture during the last days of my trip in Cambodia. I was impressed by the contrast between the glorious Kingdom's Palace and the gloommy pedicabs. I was lucky because there was full moon at that time. For me, this moment symbolized the current state of Cambodia: rich in culture, but still have to struggle against poverty and corruption. Please comment..

Very gloomy as you say. I agree on your comment. Although I did not go to Pnom Penh, I got the same feeling when I was in Siem Reap.

A nice balance of elements - the moon, though not central, adds a lot to this image.

The key succesfull taking pic of the building with many bright lamp, is chosing the perfect time: at late noon when u see the building lamp were on, and the sky still have a slighty skylight (dimm light).
This pics, we could only see the building light, and the sky are totally dark.
