Lingshed village is located at the place where calm terrain and steep terrain knock against each other, and is a small
village of about 500 people, located on average elevation 3,900m,
We can read the elevation of the right peak is 5420m on Google Maps.

Hi Hisashi,

I'm always attracted by the stunning show of clouds creating pattern of shadows in the fields and mountains.

On your photo, they are very contrasted and the result is impressive. Good use of the prayers cloths as a background that pull us into the image.

Hello again Hisashi!
Immaculately clean looking photograph, so much detail and very sharp with nice dappled light coming through the clouds.

It's a strange composition you've chosen because for me at least it's ruined the perspective and the photo almost looks 2D with the flag pole coming through the middle. I think it's because the contrast of size scale between the flag pole and the background is so enormous my eyes find it quite hard to comprehend. That said, there are many things to appreciate here, and I still like the shot. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Hello Hisashi,

All the beauty and wilderness of Zanskar is in this photo: the little green fields lost in the colored stones of the mountains, the lightning through the clouds in a pure air and the prayer flags blown by the wind.

Fascinating nature's patchwork where sun and shadow alternate and also ground has variable tones of green, grey and brown. Colourful line is an intersting foreground detail.

an image that makes me dizzy! LOL
I see so much dynamism in it - due to the POV and shadows of the clouds, I suppose... the clouds seem to be moving so quickly, the wind is blowing, the colourful flags flutter in the air. The whole sight seems like a whirlpool. Well, that's my impression. I like it!

Hi Hisashi,
Again here an image with strong contrasts from the pola/elevation combination, the rich highlights make it luminous and the framing is dynamic, the area below the flags on the right is very eye catching but the play between light and shade on the left is nice to see as well.

This is a very beautiful landscape, full of nice contrasts of colours, tones, etc. but what most attracts my attention is the rocky area on the right side and the projection of the shadows of the clouds on the ground and the high quality of the image. Congrats!

Not bad, 3900m, I imagine the air is thin up there, I think I would get some problems there as a European, although I already live on almost 1000m! Thanks for sharing!

Namaste Hisashi, here you have presented a crystal clear Ladakh landscape. The coloured rocks, the green valley, the narrow river, blue sky having ultra white clouds... great contrast. The prayer flags leads our vision into the picture. It has too many elements for viewing. Lower point of view made it heavenly. A perfect shot. TFS.
