Photographer’s Note
The interior of the basilica of San Marco in Venice, perhaps the greatest example of Greek Byzantine architecture in Italy. It was consecrated in 1094 AD.

Hi Chris,
I really like the shadows, light and colours that you've captured with this picture. It appears a bit over-cropped on the right, I wonder if the balance would have been better if the pov was centered? Minor point, I do like this.

Hello Chris
Very nice composition, with good lighting and colors.
I like the hanging candles as rain drops.

Hi Chris!
I have been to Basilica di San Marco at least 5 times now and the interior never looked so 'gothic' to me. This is nice surprise. I really like this image; because of the shadows, dark colours and that ray of light that is trying to reach the altar.
Great shot!
Best regards, Stasa
