cck stands for Choa Chu Kang. mrt stands for Mass Rapid Transport. In Singapore there's a acronym for almost everything, especially transportation related ones e.g. ERP (pending update), COE (Car Ownership ...), PIE (Pan Island Expressway), AYE (Ayer Rajah Expressway) etc.
This is a typical view from the public highrise housing mushrooming throughout all the suburbs and the locals simply call them HDB (Housing Development Board)flats... haha need I say more.
