Photographer’s Note

The oldest one arch stone vaulted bridge still in use in Finland is located in Espoo close to Espoonkartano Manor. It is from year 1777-1778 and is 17.2 meters long, 5.6 meters wide and the opening is 2.7 m wide.
The bridge place was already belonging to the middle age coastal road between Turku and Viipuri. This bridge was built when Gustav III, the king of Sweden visited Espoonkartano Manor (found 1556).

In WS a closer view of the bridge.

The river running under the bridge is Mankinjoki river, which you can see in my 2nd TE photo taken in March and partly snow covered here.
