Photographer’s Note
One of the last photos from my European adventure. With old industrial style buses chugging their way down the dark and gloomy streets on overcast days, and other hints of the communist days present, there was a whole different feel to the place in comparison to western Europe. It was the one country I wish I could have spent more time in.

Ciao Brendan,
refined B&W image, with a well studied framing under the arcades creating a nice diagonal. The timing is perfect, the two people walking in different directions with different destinies are in the right positions. The light is very well managed. Superb work.

Hi Brendan, nice symmetry in perspective alternating light and dark verticals. TFS, Alex

Hi Brendan.
Yes, it reminds me of my many visits to Czechoslovakia, as it was then, in the 1970s to 90s, and one visit to Budapest in 1983. Not to mention reminding me of a very good film from last year, 'The Lives of Others'. That bloke looks like a secret service agent for sure. Or is that the bloke walking away from the camera?
It's a well captured shot with good perspective and great light and shadow on the well located row of columns. The near fellow has just enough light on him and the far one just enough behind him to make a good silhouette, so it was a well timed shot.

Andrew

I liked the light dispersion at the ground and on columns , rich graphism and perspective, also B&W choice is very right for this capture
