Photographer’s Note
A contemporary art exhibition in Istanbul - a passageway with a one way mirror and words to arrest the unwary visitors in front of it - as one progresses into the work the truth of this observational position becomes known......here a group emerged from the photographer at the end of the mirror - just about to enter the work....he was oblivious to their presence - this shot is one of a sequence where first one person emerges from him until the last where in seconds he gives birth to around ten - a video camera moment for sure!
Hey i recognize that photographer!

A clever one, Kev. I like the way the guy on the far left (and right) is looking at the photographer (you?) like he's thinking, what the heck is this guy doing? A nice through-the-looking-glass surreal feel, and nice B/W tones. Regards, Ken.

Clever picture indeed!

Kev,
Surely this is Santralistanbul? ;)
I don't know why I find this shot so confusing - and I mean that in a good way - but I can't quite get my head around it. Actually that's quite calming - like one of those Zen things - I've become so confused my thinking has stopped thinking itself!
Thanks.
Regards
Colin

Kev
Belle exploitation du lieu et de l'instant et excellent choix du noir et blanc pour cette photo qui trouverait certainement facilement sa place dans cette exposition.

A funny and inspired arty mood, well composed (just regret the guy wit the closed eye on the right/left). Interesting energy too.

LOL LOL LOL :)
What a fertile photographer he is, though i cannot recognize the identity, while he looks like a handsome guy :)
Anyway, Hooray for the fun we had there. You see, fun with TE friends always creates inspiring photos, though i guess you should also have some portraits of "amazed but unaware" visitiors behind the mirror :))
Is a photo from Istanbul, the sign that you missed the place and could visit it in the near future?
Best,
The Handsome Photographer

Hi Kev,
An interesting photograph! I'm mostly wondering how you took it, since the photographer in the mirror isn't you :-)Or just a mirror to your right and a photographer shooting your way.
Greetings,
Dennis

Hi Kev. A simple idea but yet highly original and effective. A shot that makes you keep looking, and checking to see that everyone is there and matches up for some reason. Or is it just me! I like it anyway. Chris

So I see with the 1D you also managed to get a bit of beauty work done as well ;)
I like this one, a spontaneous shot with each face in the crowd showing a different reaction, mirror effect is great as well.
