Photographer’s Note

Sometimes not much is required to create the illusion, so here's an image from my 2006 holiday in the States... or maybe not and a more general view may hint better there's definitely something wrong about the place.

This is another view from surprising Tokyo's fun and science district Odaiba, veeery far away from Manhattan.

Hi Jean Yves,
Quite convincing copy. Sea and city background go well with the original in New York too. Good framing giving room for both the satue and sun. And excellent golden colours.

L'illusion pourrait être parfaite. Le dégradé très chaud dans le ciel est très bon pour servir d'arrière plan à cette belle ombre chinoise. (ou japonaise devrais-je dire)
Un bon cadrage est une belle lumière pour cacher la taille de cette copie.

Bonhjour Jean-Yves,

Si tu veux une série complète, il va falloir aussi passer par Colmar et Paris... Bartholdi a fait des petits...

C'est mignon... Et dans dans ton ws, la tour de la télé en arrière plan à vraiment l'air d'une tour Eiffel! La grosse sous-exposition fait toujours son petit effet au lever du jour....

Strange indeed to find this in Tokyo. She makes a wonderful silhouette and instantly recognisable.....or so I thought! Black and gold ......an excellent combination.

Manhattan or not, it's beautiful. The shades of the sky are perfect, and the position of the sun matches the whole picture. Congratulations.
