Photographer’s Note
View at Avignon from the very end of the famous Avignon bridge (Pont Saint-Benezet). Built in 12th century, then systematically destroyed by floods , stopped from being re-built in 17th century, so only a part of 900m bridge survived by now.
But this must have been a view which a traveller saw in 14th century on his arrival to Avignon. The axis of the bridge points the Palace of Popes and on the hill left from the palace there were Popes Gardens.

C'est très beau, ta composition est très bien pensée, quand au résultat, il n'y a qu’à contempler et se taire....
Bravo pour cette très belle photo!

Good angle of view .. the essential of Avignon
.. a rocky hill ( which can't be flooded )close to the Rhone river was at the origin of the city .

One of your best compositions so far, Marek. Very tasteful framing with the cobblestone bridge on the right that establishes perspective, and of course affords a good leading line towards the Palace. Crisp details, natural colors, and the reflection is also a bonus. I have only one very minor criticism - the two gray dots in the sky (clouds) above the castle are a little disturbing. The other 99.9% of the photo - great!
