Photographer’s Note

Italian cities are often organized around a central piazza around which the city life takes place, often and fortunately this piazza is within the ZTL where car traffic is severely restricted, so that people can enjoy the area at its best, not to mention photographers who're not too fond of cars parked in anarchy.

Without car is the best way to enjoy such places lined with heritage buildings such as here in Orta San Giulio, the piazza is bordered with XVI th century houses already displaying the southern warmth on their facades. On the left side you can see the city landmark, the palazotto comunale.
