Photographer’s Note

La Boca is one of the most colorful barrios in Buenos Aires. Its brightly colored buildings give the area a very festive appearance.
Italian immigrants were the first settlers of La Boca, and the working class neighborhood was Buenos Aires' first port. Today the buildings in the barrio are painted in bright colors. We wandered down the famous pedestrian street of La Caminito, which was named for a popular tango song. Many local artists were selling their wares, while others danced the tango for the many visitors. (source: About.com)

One word of caution -- all the guidebooks caution tourists to visit La Boca during daylight hours or to be sure and stay only in the La Caminito area.

>>> Buenos Aires is a very pintoreque and photogenic city, but when visiting, be very careful of your surroundings. Unfortunately for me, while taking some night shots two nights ago, my camera was quickly snatched out of my hand by some random guy who quickly ran away after taking my camera. Well, I am glad I bought an extra one-- a little old, but it helped me to capture this photo from "Caminito"

Of course, this kind of thing can happen anywhere to anyone--so I was a"lucky" one.
Maryori :)

I decided to tilt because the sky was very white and bright, and since I was using the old camera, I couldn't manage the light, and the sky would have looked extremely overexposed.

I'm experimenting a little bid and I kind of like tilting my photos see?
