Photographer’s Note

Punta Molentis (Donkey's point) is one of the most spectacular places on the southeastern Sardegna coastline due to the presence of this impressive rising rock you can see here overlooking the cove on the right.

This natural harbour protected from the sea is also home to traditional fishing activities and next to them there is a small pleasant beach featuring the legendary Sardinian crystal clear water, as I told everything to make a donkey happy ;-)

J'aime ta photo grâce au ciel bien bleu donc a ta façon :-)
Ce que j'aimeun peu moins c'est ce que l'on voit en bas du rocher.
Mais le rocher je l'aime bien car on dirait qu'il est tout près de nous.

Good morning Jean Yves,
the view is simply outstanding with sea and sky like a single element divided by the hills. The great colours are simply amazing with the different tone of blue making the deifference. High standard quality with well visible details even in the shadow to make this picture simply pleasant to look at. I really like it.

Ce poitn de vue est très bon et le format bien adapté à l'image. Je vois que tu n'as pas pu résister à pousser un peu les bleus ;-) mais c'est de bonne guerre...
J'aurais peut-être un peu débouché la zone d'ombre au pied du rocher ?

Une partie un poil sombre vers le centre bas mais qui est vite oubliée lorsque l'on "entre" dans l'image et ce magnifique paysage de rêve... (même pour un montagnard)

Quel superbe panorama ! Une baie ou il doit faire bon faire trempette. La couleur et la transparence de l'eau. La chaleur des couleurs est au top ! J'aime beaucoup ce genre d'image aux couleurs saturées et à la grand profondeur.

Good use of the panoramic format to heighten the curve of the bay with the interesting rock making a useful anchor point. Interesting light and shadow contrasts. I seem to remember from David Copperfield that donkeys also like strawberries ;-)

I've enjoyed all three of these pictures. The beach is beautiful, like a paradise, but I especially like this as it shows us the uniqueness of this place. A very interesting rock formation! Excellent color and detail. TFS and have a happy day!

Le nord c'est beau mais quand je vois cette merveille j'ai un regret c'est de n'avoir pas descendue plus dans le sud..
j'aime tout l'endroit et bien sur les couleurs sublime qui donne envie de vacances...bon attendent essayons de passé un beau weekend :-)

B'Sera JY - the low light is certainly magical, and complements the many different geographical features in the frame, a bach, clear water, mountains, an isthmus, and that strange spiky rock formation.

une photo qui invite aux vacances, ou j'y suis depuis hier mais ou je continue a travailler mais pour des raisons plus paternelles
un POV en hauteur qui donne une vision sur ce paysage italien superbe avec une couleur de l'eau d'un bleu profond qui fait réver, bon je vais y penser la semaine prochaine mais dans les pyrennées

Bonsoir Jean-Yves,

Ce qui me frappe le plus dans celle belle image, c'est l'absence de pollution visible sur l'horizon. Cela nous change des images de Pékin ces derniers jours à la télé. On a l'impression de voir la courbure de la terre tellement l'image paraît vaste! Dommage que cela ne passe pas tout à fait en "panorama". on se serait régalé!

The well saturated colours are lovely and just what I need to brighten this cold, wet August week-end. The rock looks as if it is standing guard over the bay. You have certainly put it to good use in your composition with excellent framing and cropping

a very nice composition with the Donkey's Point dominating the image but well place off center and openning the view for the inviting ondulated shore and rolling hills. However, what really makes the image pop-up as a real eye graber is the light. It is just perfect in light, illuminated areas and the shadow of the Point in the water at the far left.

The saturation close to the limit has doubled pleasant, and the panoramic composition that cast a shadow of the impressive rising rock on the cove is best for looking at Sardinian crystal clear water.
In summer, i'm fascinated with such photo of beautiful cloud and water

This is a dreamlandschape and a place i've never seen before but that i hope to visit in the future. Incredible!

The well saturated blues and contrasting greens make the image live. The rockformation is impressive and you use it well at your composition.
