Photographer’s Note

My cousin made a 6 months bicycle trek through India to Tibet. Unfortunately, I did not have the guts nor the endurance to do such thing (yet). I flew to Kathmandu and from there we went camping. The scenery was breathtaking and the camping ground is backbreaking. You can see Mt. Everest in the background.

Very nice ! love the nice sharp yellow tent just in front of the more smooth mountains in the background. This makes me think of a title " modernity against eternity" since the tent is really a modern gear and Mt Everest is there forever.

Since you've posted your beautiful moon shot, this let me think you are on it now. Only your tent, the ruins and the snow prove it's on earth. Strange landscape, beautifully shown.

Nice colors throughout, looks nice and sharp. I would crop out some of that sky so that the mountains end up at the top of the photo. Good job here.

Now that's color! I love how the blue sky and yellow tent have a balance point in the cool, dark shadow of the rock.

Do you have a shot with the tent and the rock lined up in a direct vertical composition?

Explosive colors, and you've managed to make a "hard" pic good. I see by that shadow that the sun is throwing very hard light. Together with the previous they make a very nice serie. If you have another one you should put it out... a serie should be at least three pics...
