bended dow against a tree
that she didn't noticed
the world around
just reading her bible
deeply captured
with that special glance
like rewarded
with a caress by the Light.

Hello Luca,

How tender the light caresses her face and veil.
A portrait to be proud of for sure. Nice touch of the wood where she rests her head against. To me, it shows the connection people have in Ethiopia with the earth. Almost rudimentary I'd say. Nice.

A beautiful portrait with a lot of softness... either in the position of her body, as if she leaning toward a cradle, (that was my first impression before i read your note) either in the tones of colors of her skin... The texture is marvellous too...And the veil, the veil in which she wrapped her hair, adds something maternal too. A very lovely picture!

What does one say about this photo? It's absolutely stunning. It reminds me of a scene one might see accompanying the book "Sweetness in the Belly" by Camilla Gibb- which I have recently read and which has quickly become one of my favourites. I loved the story and would never imagine that an image could accompany it to do it justice but this one certainly does! Thank you.
