Photographer’s Note
The extinct volcano Mt Garibaldi can be seen in this photo, rearing up behind the delta of the Squamish River. The town of Squamish is close by, and there several walking tracks along a system of dykes that were built about 100 years ago. The dykes were used to drain the delta for farming, but the farming stopped a long time ago. They are now surrounded by wetlands, such as seen in the foreground.
Scanned from a slide. Polariser used.

Hi Vincent,
This is a very nice clean shot and I cannot say anything bad about it.
The only thing is that it deserves much more attention than it got so far...
Regards,
Nelu

Hi Vincent,
I agree with Nelu, where are all the points for such a fantastic shot.
Superb image, beautifully composed and with such fine detail.
Clean crisp image as sharp as.
Should be a page full of green.
cheers
Peter
