Photographer’s Note
Its the East region of Buenos Aires, full of atractions to the tourism. The old port of Buenos Aires was revitalized and transformed to be an important center to the tourism, specially at night when its many restaurants are the main attraction.
The docks are now restaurants and residential lofts that preserve the old architecture British style. I wasn't lucky to have a nice meal trying two nights of dinner in two of those restaurants, but you can try yours, because the view is beautiful like this. (the meal was not really bad, as well. But we can find better restaurants out there.)
In the right is the "Fragata Sarmiento"
School Boat from the Argentinian Navy. The boat is more than 100 years old and it was one of the most fasts from its age, needing a crew of 90 sailors to take its sails up. It is possible to visit the boat and it is very nice!
I haven´t any tripod with me, but I used the upper side of a fence to support my camera.
Regards,
Zeca

Hola Zeca.
Good night shot of the popular place in Buenos Aires, I would prefer to take it during the blue hours so we can see better the separation of the building with the sky in a better way but any way your night shot is very good. I was there just last October, good restaurants with very good "bife".
Well done.
TFS.
Best wishes.

Carlos

Hello Jose,
It is a beautiful image where the lights draw the night. It is an image of Argentina far from emblematic the tango. The image is of excellent quality. Beautiful and good work.
Have a nice day

Hello José,
This his the most difficult pictures as night image, through the almost completely dark moment.
I like the enlightenment of the buildings and the reflections in water, this gives a nice composition and very attractive photograph.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Jose,
a wonderful night shot, all these different colors and these reflections in the water, great! I like your composition, the placement of the sailing boat is very good and the handling of the exposure absolutely perfect. You did a great job, as usual!
Take care

You handled the exposure on all the lights beautifully. In particular I like the reflections on the water. Maybe a blue hour shot would have been preferable, but when travelling we can't always be there at the right time. I am impressed you managed this without a tripod. Well done

Excellent night shot, I love the string of light reflecting in the water, very lovely atmosphere. really great without a tripod, I can image how much better it would be with. Great composition and overall good quality and very enjoyable. Thanks for the effort.

another interesting photo, Zeca, it's almost an abstraction, and I quite like that we only see the lights that indicate the shapes of the buildings and ships. the reflections work very well to emphasise the dream-like mood of the place, excellent work.

Bonita foto da terra de los hermanos. Ficou bem gráfica, a fragata representada pela silhueta luminosa, e os reflexos deram o atratismo especial à captura. Bonito trabalho. Abraço, Consuelo

The colorful lights and their reflection are contrasting well with the dark elements and I like the garland hanging on the mast of the boat which is a nice detail to look at. The water texture is also superb!

In April, I see, you were in Buenos Aires, and what a superb shot you've taken here. For a night shot, the light management is excellent. In 1996 I was briefly in Monte Video, and had to change a flight before heading back to the United States. I remember well that there was an announcement in Spanish by the pilot. I asked the flight attendant and asked what the pilot said, and her response was "Sorry, but you and I are the only two people on the plane who don't speak Spanish." A little later, she came back and told me what the pilot had announced. Just a few rows behind me, a woman had given birth to a baby, while flying over the Amazon Jungles.
Um abraco,
Bulent

A little dark but I guess this looks as real as it was there at that moment. The light management is ok to me and the place looks cool (a kind of holidays mood).
