Photographer’s Note

Nelle acque croate durante lo sbarco a Dubrovnik il comandante della nave ha fatto calare le scialuppe in mare per poter traghettare noi passeggeri alla costa. Ho colto dall'alto della nave questo istante che mi è piaciuto per i colori e per l'inquadratura.

Very unnerving shot Silvia. The POV is quite spectacular and the angle you have chosen to present it, with the subject seemingly leaning backwards towards the water really adds a feeling of tension. Good detail throughout and fine colours.

Hello Silvia,

Wow, impact!! Not just because of the punch of yellow! Also because of the feling of danger! The man hanging off the side, the wild water and perhaps it's even the cross - giving the feeling of something dangerous, on the edge, emergency services closeby.
Nice work for sure!!!

Hi Silvia,

Very colourful photo! I like the interesting point of view and the diagonal position of the boat. Nice composition. Perfect sharpness too. I would 've liked to see a bit more of the boat however, but I guess that's personal opinion ;)

I like this POV, very unusual and turned out really cool graphically. Love the intense yeallow against the blue water. Very nice rich tone, great details and sharpness, and excellent composition too. Thanks for this unusual view.
