Au même titre que Jean-Yves, tu as rivalisé de doigté pour saisir ce Parlement.
J'aime beaucoup le rôle de cadre idéal que joue ces colonnes. Le cadrage est tout simplement superbe. Tu as bien fait de prendre de la hauteur. L'endroit a l'air superbe.

Hi Didier,
The view is wonderful, just as using the columns as extra layer in front for depth and focalpoint. But it looks a bit you had problems with the compression for keeping it within the 200kb barrier?
Just a thought, could also be the weather but it seems pretty clear during the day.
Whatever, your viewpoint is well chosen with a creative touch.
BTW....where's the next meeting?

Hello Didier,
Despite the excellent POV, composition and colours I like the most the small things that only those can notice who know this place a bit more. I like the way you hid the trestle-work of the Parlamentand the tower of the church with the right coloumn and still have the cupola of the Parlament in the middle!

You have spotted an excellent element in symmetry to frame the distant Pest. The weather is nice and the light is good enough to accentuate the overall picture.

Tiens tu fais tu post groupe avec Anes aujourd'hui !
Variante eclairee du parlement encadre par ces chouettes arches, et une bonne lumiere qui a bien illumine les deux plans, t'as meme pas du trop fermer le caillou pour avoir les 2 bien nets.

Bien sympa cette photo avec ces colonnes qui constituent un cadre très intéressant pour la vue sur la ville. De belles couleurs et une belle lumière. Ca aurait été encore mieux sans les arbustes derrière les colonnes, mais bon, tu n'y peux pas grand chose !

I love this kind of shot and know it is difficult to get the DOF correct, unless you go for "artistic" bokeh of either the foreground or the background. It's not always possible to find the perfect focal point to ensure the full depth is sharp. At this size the arches look fairly sharp, although close scrutiny reveals a little softness. Nevertheless I think you achieved an attractive image with the dominant part of the background carefully framed in the centre arch. Well done

I have been at this exact location 5 years ago, I didn't have digital camera yet at the time, but I have some good shot similar in film. Love the POV through the arches of windows of the paliment. Great DoF, very good sharpness and clarity and love the color and light. Beautiful place for a TE Meeting. Great shot. Thanks
