Photographer’s Note

Dear Friends!

After all these horrible days, finally a new shot:) Today wanna show you another one taken during trip to France...

Close to the famous Place Massena and set in the beautiful surroundings of the Albert I Garden, there is Bernard Venet's huge arc. It stands over several tens of meters high and seems almost to touch the sky. Despite its gigantic proportions, the structure has an amazing feeling of lightness. This contemporary work of art has had no trouble winning the hearts of the people of Nice and has become a modern symbol of the neighborhood.

interesting architecture...I am tried to understand what does it mean...but it really look interesting...full of dynamic.
maybe an attempt to raise from the earth to the sky?

I feel like shouting "wheee-hooo!" as my eyes travel along the curve of this fascinating artwork :D it has no trouble winning my hear too :)I like a lot the way you have composed the photo, the vertical format and the placement of the curve in the frame nicely emphasises the feeling of sweeping motion. the palm trees add a sense of scale, that's great in photos like this. very nice work, my compliments.

Wow, very attractive composition that you have captured this view with a good vertical frame for this sculpture and really stands out. Color saturation is a little too strong but the overall photo is pleasantly shot.

Hi friends,
I am glad that you have solved your problems with the PC, because we can see your new photos.
This capture in a good vertical format has a great dynamism and a deep perspective, seems that this arch goes out of the picture, and I like its elegant geometry.
The sky and the clouds add a magnificent background to these gardens in the middle of the urban landscape.

¦wietny przyk³ad bardzo dobrze zaprojektowanego kadru. Co tutaj du¿o gadaæ, kompozycja znakomita. Podoba mi siê oswietlenie i bardzo dobrze pracuj±ce kontrasty. Takie zdjecia robi± dobre wra¿enie na ogl±daj±cych, nios± warto¶ci estetyczne i edukacyjne.

Czesc,
zadziwiajace dzielo sztuki, nowoczesnej. Wyglada imponujaco mimo prostej formy. Wolalbym to w moim miescie zamiast np. ohydnego czolgu. Stawiac na cokole maszyne do zabijania jako pomnik to dla mnie bzdura. To tak na marginesie. Dobry reportaz i dokument.

fajne, ma swoj styl.. choc kontrast troszke jak dla mnie przesolony, moznaby przynajmniej ciut rozjasnic (?) w sumie pozytyw - za miejsce i kompozycje :)

Witam,
no piekna figurka cokolwiek w mniemaniu autora ma oznaczac, zauwazylem ze sztuka nowoczesna darzy do prostoty - czasami zbyt usilnie :)
Podobne cos jest w sopocie tyle ze znacznie mniejsze i w liczbie dwoch...
Co do fotki - swietny POV, dobre swiatlo i ciekawa notka,
