Photographer’s Note

We are now in Antibes, some 20 km west of Nice: The fortified city at the Côte d'Azur. I noticed preparations at a sailing school - Ecole de Voile -
There was only one way to take a picture, and I believe it was with my wide angle, that I could get many sails and a good portion of the cloudy sky.

Hello Izzet. As I can clearly see its always how you compose the elements inside the frame with the wide angle lens that makes the results challenging and rewarding if you get is just right. I think you managed to capture a nice arrangement of sails from this angle. Very nicely done!

Every time I come across a beautiful scenery, I look at it and wonder to myself. The scene is here, but how to shoot it. Wonderful use of the blue and cloudy sky and superb use of the light and vivid colors. The composition is off course superb.needless to say.

that's an interesting crop - chopping off the bottom in this way you sort of extended the height of the sails...
interesting "vision"...

İzzet Bey Merhaba ,
Harika bir tatil yapmışsınız.Antibesin mini trenle hemen her yerini görmüş,eski kent merkezinin dar sokalarında epeyce dolaşmıştım..Bu rengarenk yelkenler yarışa hazırlanıyorlar herhalde, Rüzgarlı havanın hissedildiği gökyüzü ile çok güzel kompozisyon oluşturmuşlar.Elinize gözünüze sağlık,kutlarım Anılarımı yeniden yaşadığım için teşekkür ederim

Again you have done a lesson for us with this photo. The composition and the low POV are the main points of the photo and when you do... it looks so easy.
